Although the restoration zones cover most of the planet's major hubs, a large part of the population is forced to remain outside the shields in fortified settlements known as the protectorates. As the restoration project of guidance is advancing too slow and many object in the Misanthropy initiative of sacrificing emotions, some of the hopeful join the newfound Caution, seeking an alternative solution.
